Christie Scheele was born in 1957. Before earning her BFA in painting from the School of Art and Design at Alfred University, Scheele toured Spain and South American studying at The University of Tomas Frias in Bolivia, The Royal Academy of San Fernando and University of Complutense in Madrid.
Many galleries and museums have featured Sheele's work, including Carrie Haddad, Hudson, NY; Schoharie Arts Council; Museum of Hudson Highlands; Barrett House, Poughkeepsie, NY; and the Floating Gallery, New York City.
In addition to numerous private collections, Christie Scheele's work is included in collections of Keihin Hotels Executive Group, Takanawa, Japan; Oliver, Wyman & Co., New York; and Club Financiero Genova, Madrid Spain.
Publications featuring Sheele's work include The Woodstock Times, The Daily Freeman, The Provincetown Advocate and ArtSpeak.
