  Kib Bramhall has been painting on Martha's Vineyard for more than thirty years. His subject matter is derived from nature as he observes it in his other lives as fisherman and naturalist.
His artistic intention is aptly stated in the quote: "I make paintings because I find nature endlessly beautiful and mysterious, and I want to record those moments when it makes me catch my breath."
Bramhall graduated from Princeton University in 1955 with a degree in Art History, and has been painting ever since. He has had several one-man shows in New York and Boston, and in recent years his work has been handled exclusively by the Craven Gallery.
